| Ah.....our last full day in the park..... But what a day! |

The vultures were in a tree opposite this Hyena mum and cub. This was on the S22, heading towards the Stevenson-Hamilton memorial. |

Just when you think it's too late and you've seen pretty-much all you can, Mother Nature has a way of throwing you a real curve-ball. This was our first ever cheetah sighing in the KNP. It was the cherry on the top of the icing on the cake! We'd gone back the same route we took to the Stevenson-Hamilton memorial to look for a Black-Backed Jackal we'd seen earlier. We saw the jackal: it was being chased by the Cheetah! |

| ....and then, of course, to Pretoriuskop for the night. We
spent our last day in the Park catching up with people who made our wedding
there so special last October, also we had to say goodbye to Lil & Mike and
Lorna and Lucky, who were heading back to Inhambane in Mozambique after
spending a few days with us in the KNP.
It's always sad leaving friends and leaving the KNP, but there's always another trip to look forward to! Our next one won't be long away. We start making plans almost the moment we leave and, at time of writing, some pretty exciting adventures are being planned for later this year.
Watch this space.....! |
